DualExpat.com - An interview with Bertrand Fouquoire

The recently formed LinkedIn group for Trailing Spouse professionals has generated some interesting connections. Most recently, Bertrand Fouquoire, a fellow male trailing spouse located in France.

I recently interviewed Bertrand and learned that he has been an expat in Saudi Arabia and Belgium, and a trailing spouse in the US, and currently on his way for another expat experience, once again as a trailing spouse to Singapore. This time with the project of developing coaching support to expats and spouses in France and Asia. Bertrand, like me is interested in assisting trailing spouses and other expat professionals in business and career aspects. He's an HR professional with 20 years experience with large corporations and international deployments. He maintains a website whose aim is to help trailing spouses conciliate mobility and career. His website www.dualexpat.com is currently only in French, but a new version is being developed and will be available in English. Bertrand and I discussed his goals for dualexpat.com and some other thoughts on assisting trailing spouses and other expat professionals. Please have a listen and feel free to comment below. -- Music for this podcast is from the 'Walk in my dreams' album by Endo, from Lyon in France. The track I chose is 'Touch of the Blues'. Not an east choice given the quality of this album. If you enjoy some easy, bluesy guitar, Endo really is worth a listen. This album is available through Jamendo.com ...enjoy Endo!
